Tips on How to smell good all day

TIP 1: Shower Daily

The base point of smelling good starts with your proper hygiene. I make sure to shower every day using a mild and light fragrant body wash, paying special attention to areas prone to sweating, such as underarms and my feet. I also exfoliate regularly to remove dead skin cells and prevent the buildup of odor-causing bacteria. You can do it twice a week if you can’t exfoliate daily.

Tip 2: Use Antiperspirant or Deodorant

After showering, I always apply a quality antiperspirant or deodorant to my underarms. I prefer long-lasting formulas that keep me feeling fresh throughout the day. I also carry a travel-size deodorant in my purse for quick touch-ups when needed because I have been out of the home all day. The women who are going to offices, shoots or as businesswomen travel-size deodorant is must have in your purse.

Tip 3: Moisturize with Scented Products

Most Important: Keeping my skin hydrated is key to maintaining a pleasant scent. I use scented body lotions and creams that complement my perfume. I also focus on applying them to my pulse points, such as wrists, neck, and behind the ears.

Tip 4: Wear Clean Clothes

Cleanliness extends beyond my body. I always wear clean clothes made from breathable fabrics to prevent the buildup of sweat and bacteria. Always pay special attention to washing and changing your undergarments regularly.

Tip 5: Wash Hair Regularly

your hair can trap odors, especially if you use styling products. I wash my hair regularly using a shampoo that suits my hair type.  Make sure your scalp is clean and free from any residue that may contribute to a bad scent.

Tip 6: Drink Plenty of Water

Staying hydrated is best way to maintain a fresh scent. I aim to drink at least 96 fluid ounces of water per day, as it helps dilute scents that may be unpleasant, such as garlic, onions, and coffee breath.

Tip 7: Choose Breath-Freshening Products

Bad breath can be a major turn-off. Regularly brush teeth, floss, and use mouthwash. If possible also carry breath mints or sugar-free gum to freshen your breath on the go whenever required.

Tip 8: Layer Scents

Layering scents can also contribute to the longevity of fragrance. I start with a scented body wash or lotion, followed by a matching deodorant or antiperspirant. I then spritz on my perfume, focusing on my pulse points. This helps creating a cohesive scent that lasts throughout the day.

Tip 9: Reapply Perfume as Needed

Even with all these tips,  perfume’s scent will naturally fade throughout the day. So keep a travel-size version of my favorite fragrance in my bag to touch up my scent whenever I need a refresh.
