Tough news came out of Greenfield, Iowa. This small town of around 2,000 people, located 50 miles southwest of Des Moines, was hit hard by a tornado on Tuesday.
Multiple deaths have been reported, but authorities haven't confirmed the exact number yet. The Iowa State Patrol is on the case, and while search efforts continue, they believe everyone in town has been accounted for.

Tornadoes were also spotted in places like Red Oak, Macksburg, Winterset, and several other towns near Des Moines. One dramatic video captured a tornado near Red Oak, filmed by Ronald G. Bingham Jr. Another video showed a tornado near Carbon, Iowa, and a storm chaser caught footage of a tornado destroying a windmill near Williamson, close to the Missouri border.
